Pasta and Puccini Dinner, 2011

Our next annual Pasta and Puccini Dinner will take place in March 2011. We expect that as in past years, we will return to DON FRANCESCO Ristorante, 860 Burrard Street Vancouver with our generous and musical host, Francesco Alongi. Francesco makes sure that we dine on Vancouver's finest Italian food and wines in a grand Italian atmosphere. We hope to repeat last year's grand raffle and to enjoy magnificent singing from rising young singers from UBC`s Opera School. This dinner has become a "must attend" event on Vancouver`s social calendar.Check this space in early 2011 for more details.

A Great Chinese Meal and an Introduction to an Operatic World Première 

The Vancouver Opera Guild invites members and their guests to a very special evening at the Floata Seafood Restaurant on September 23^rd starting at 6:30 pm. 

Join the Guild and the Vancouver Chinatown Lions for a sumptuous 7 course Chinese meal followed by a lively talk by Christopher Libby, the VO’s Managing Director.  Christopher will introduce us to Lillian Alling, a World Première for the Vancouver Opera, set to open in October, 2010.
